Title: Output transformer for 6GW8 pp amp
Post by: jamesedmunda on August 03, 2021, 05:51:46 am
I need an output transformer for a Guild Thunder Reverb that uses 2 6GW8 tubes.
I have a Hammond 125 universal ot does 10k seem right for the impedance.
TIA James

What did the guys selling this tube say?

Page 4 suggests 8k at 250V, 9k at 300v.
10k is certainly in the ballpark.
