Hi All, I'm setting-up my winter projects and wanted to know if anyone has ever cataloged DXF or other CAD files for machining chassis components. I roll my own using the eMachine Shop EMS format and then rent their DXF conversion utility to make them readable for a local CNC laser-cutting shop. I enjoy it, but it can get really tedious -- especially when you need to go back to the drawing board for transformer bolt spacing. I've attached both a recent DXF file and a 3D rendering so you'll know what I'm talking about. The CAD picture is a rendering pasted in MS Paint since the format can't be opened unless you have the right software. I have dozens of them -- some usable, some not -- and would be glad to download them to a sticky. They are all homebrews though and not official or even necessarily correct.
I can't speak to other CAD formats. They are certainly out there. But it would be nice to tap into a spec-ed Marshall JTM45 layout.
