Hello, I'm new to the forum but have been a lurker for awhile. I probably would still be a lurker but the other day I did a search for Rob Robinette's amp mods page and saw that a Rob Robinette had passed away as the result of a motorcycle incident. ...

-A little searching led me to a picture of our RobRob from the 1981 US Helicopter Team.
-The motorcycle accident story listed the victim as being 48 years old.
-This would mean that Rob would have been 8 years old when he competed on the US Helicopter Team OR the article is about a different Robert Robinette

I am saddened by the loss of 48 year old Robert in such a horrific accident. What a nightmare for his family.
