So I'm putting together my shopping list for a 5F1. Resisters and caps are relatively cheap when compared to shipping cost to get one or two items delivered.
Would it make sense to order a couple more caps and resisters?
Thanks for your feedback.

yes

I am not a pro but I never buy less than 5 of any item I use.....including electolytics
And also don't fool yourself you won't just build one...

I always order a few extra of any small components.
In addition, I usually order a few different values for any component I think may be up for potential experimentation or mods.
Small components are cheap, unless you have to pay shipping just to replace that one piece you mislaid or damaged…

Order more the one parts when they are cheap ; resistors, coupling caps.
Good quality filter power supply caps are expensive, order only what you need now.
Spare power tube are useful

LOL, there are only two ways to build a stash, and if you're going to build amps, you need one.
1) Parts are given to you. This is the best!
2) You buy them. This is the most realistic.
The time to buy is when you are already going to pay shipping costs at Mouser or Digikey.
Latole's advice about having extra power tubes on hand is correct.

Well, that would be a resounding yes.
Thanks for all the input.
