Title: Plexi with trem & verb
Post by: Beezerboy on September 12, 2021, 03:13:20 pm
I've built 2 Hoffman Plexi 6V6s and both sound great. The last one I added the 1 tube reverb. My guitar player friends all love the sound & one guy wants to build one for himself (with my help). He wants tremolo as well as the reverb. whats the best way to do that or is that a fools errand?  I was thinking of lifting the trem circuit out of the AB763 (I've built that one too) and grafting it to the 6V6 Plexi. what is the voltage there (B)... I don't see it in the diagram

any other ideas? thanks...

I did something like that using Sluckey's Tremonator for the trem circuit. I like it a lot. But sorry, sound clips are beyond me. :w2:

It's more than sufficient. The actual voltage is not too critical.

Look over at 18watt.com .. there is the Tremolo TMB reverb. I built it 3 times.. it's THAT good !!!
