Title: I bought a TC1 multifunction tester

And most likely wasted money.  But I did read it was good for transistors for pedal building.

Any thoughts on this thing?

I use mine to check components before installation.  I can do this efficiently with some wire clips permanently clipped in the holder.

It is NOT as accurate as a Fluke, but it is consistent and close to the big boys, and all I am trying to do is make sure I don't put a 15K resistor where a 1.5K should be, or a .022 uF cap where a .0022 cap.  My eyes are not what they used to be . . .

So yeah, not a game changer, but it has its use case.
