Title: What the heck is that thing?
Post by: dragonworks on October 24, 2021, 02:31:24 pm
I bought some stuff at an estate sale, these were in with it. They work great for pulling components. Get the slot in the hook around the wire, apply some heat and tug a bit. Works as a heat sink also. I asked the wife for a spare toothbrush to clean boards with and she gave me the one in the pic. I love it..

I don't think it is, but if you get caught in someone's backyard with the red tool, they will call it a lockpick or a jimmy.

It is just as likely to maybe be a wire harness lacing tool.

The other one makes me think of dental-cleaning a Rhino, but probably isn't.

The estate sale was from a deceased electronics guy who worked for Westinghouse. Everything was electrical related? I got a ton of stuff for a hundred bucks. Turned around and sold the scope I got for 125. Kept the rest.

Man you came across a gold mine I bet. Getting harder and harder to find those scenarios.
