I have Carvin V3 on my desk and I'm wondering the caps that have been added from power amp plates to B+.

Maybe someone thought the amp was too bright or they were experiencing hi freq buzzes or oscillation. What value are the caps?

They are probably Tantalum caps labeled with 471K, 470pF?

471K = 470pf

Value seems probable but I doubt they are tantalum. Tantalum is usually 1µF and larger but in low voltage ratings.

Might be some other type as well but I ended up to Tantalum because of their high voltage rating (3kV) and look.
See the picture.

dipped ceramic. 3kV probably prudent
