Title: AB763 Tremolo smoothing cap?
Post by: Esquirefreak on November 12, 2021, 03:00:14 pm
Is it possible to add a smoothing cap like the ones used in Fenders bias varying tremolo circuits? And where would one implement one if so? I'm just curious, really.

And thanks to the guys that chimed in on my last post about the reverb circuitry. I moved some stuff around and changed the plate load Rs. Also swapped a few ceramic caps that had gone microphonic and the amp is now really quiet at idle. The hum turned out to be from one of the shunting input jacks (it had a gap between the breaker and the tip).

Here's a pic of "Old Choppy".

Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Yes. Put it on the output of the oscillator.
