It's snowing, it's that time when music replaces wandering the yard!
using my last guitar amp as an Audio Amp. Works great at reasonably loud bedroom volumes. Except it doesn’t pass the bass very well. Mid-bass n up it’s nice. I don’t want to tweak the TS since it’s were I want for guitar. So re-purposing an old bookshelf As a ported bass cab. I’ll use my sandbox build to drive it n we’ll see. The sand amp drives the Klipsch Bass fine.
The 1st problem;
I measured once…..Last year … ordered from memory a couple days ago! So It’s off to lowes for some creative engineering to get a 5 1/2” to fit in a 6 ½” hole!

6" air diffuser wins :laugh:
busted out the 3 spot welds, hammered down the bevel, good enough for winter.

Better but not there!
The SS amp is just too lacking so;
I'm sure the tube amp will give me enough Bass without the new driver.
here's the 1st mods to the guitar amp,
now if I can find the soldering pencil!!!

:headbang:
couple trips to the bench n my G-tar amp is now audio certified!!!
the Sand amp is still driving the bass speaker with the left channel since the tube amp is just mono, fills in nice!

Since i'm wintering over this year, stealing the SS and speakers from the red-neck camper. Gives me 3 amps, 5 speakers, and a cabling nightmare!
