Here's some info on Hoffman Fender layout boards.
My board material is not the same size as original Fender boards
The height is always 3.125 inches tall

Modern resistors have shorter leads and are only able to span maybe 2 inches from eyelet to eyelet
So the top and bottom rows on my boards have been shortened down to a 2 inch span

The way this is done is I take the original Fender layout as an image and then scale it down to get the 2 inch vertical span
This also shrinks the length.

My board sizes are listed on the Fender boards page here
Eyelet Boards (https://hoffmanamps.com/MyStore/catalog/EyeletBoard.htm)

Every board has a link to the original Fender layout diagram
You still use the fender layout diagram to populate one of my boards

My boards do not use backing boards.
You use standoffs to raise the boards above the chassis surface.

You can see example of how my boards are mounted in this document that is used for my turret board installs
But much of it still applies to my fender eyelet boards

Some questions I get about my boards

Can you cut the height down from 3.125 inches to 2.5 inches?
No, sorry
I get all my board material cut into 3.125 inch x 48 inch long strips by my board material supplier
I requires using a table saw with a fine toothed carbide blade
I don't do any table saw ripping here.

What backing board do I use?
You don't. You use standoffs as is shown in this document
https://el34world.com/Hoffman/instructions.htm (https://el34world.com/Hoffman/instructions.htm)

Are the layouts the same as the original Fender board?
Yes, I just take the original layout diagram and scale it down a bit so that the top and bottoms rows are 2 inches apart to accommodate modern resistor lengths
You use the original Fender layout diagram to install the parts on your board

What is the size of your Fender board?
The vertical height is always 3.125 inches tall
The lengths are all listed on the Fender Eyelet board page here

More questions and answers to come as I think of them
