Hey there! Glen Rees from out here in California. High desert area. 59 years old. Been playing guitar off and on since I was a teenager. Own a Hot Rod Deville 4 x 10 and a Mesa Boogie Triple Crown 50 watt head and 4 x 10 slant cab. Have a little background with electricity. Worked as a tech in the auto industry for many years. I want to build an amp.

Hey! Welcome from San Diego!
I highly recommend a kit as your first build. There are many many options. Pick something simple to start… while you wait, binge-watch Uncle Doug, live by the robrobinette.com website, and read Merlin Blencoe’s books/website.
There are many other sources, too! Welcome to the addiction!

Welcome from Rancho Cucamonga! If you've never built an amp before, I'd suggest starting with something relatively simple and go from there. Make sure to ask questions and do your research. Knowledge is power as they say. :0)
