After much delay, my Princeton 5881 with Sluckey's tremonator circuit is up and running.
I have a couple of questions:
The tremolo is very smooth, but quicker than I want -- it gets swampy only when the speed pot is turned to the min. I tested paralleling in a .022uF cap in the C12 followed by C13 position. I don't see hear much difference (if any) between the two positions -- does it make a difference which cap I bump up to .047uF?
Second, the tremolo effect is fairly weak as wired -- it's just acceptable when Intensity is turned to max. I'm wondering if I would get more intensity if I inserted the trem effect just after the Volume pot (ie, at the grid of V1B). If that is done, would I need an additional coupling cap before the grid? (I wouldn't think so, as there should not be DC voltage on the trem leg of the circuit.) Are there alternatives to increase the strength of the tremolo effect?

FWIWI installed the trem on my last build n basically have the same conditions. I have the swamp switch and that works well.
mixing the trem and keeping the signal amplitude from getting loaded down was my "struggle" I don't play so the "mellow" amount of trem
is just fine for me.

Reply #190 is were the trem gets up n running, schematics are scattered about.

The intensity pot in that location acts as a load on the signal. The AB763 circuit is designed to have that load. The Princeton is not. I had great success by lifting the intensity pot ground. I suggest trying that first. If you don't like the result, you can copy how I did it on my 6V6 Plexi variation.
