Big snow flakes coming down right now
Could be 16 or more inches by morning

Radar still shows lots of snow to the west of me and that's the direction it comes from

Yea, I have been watching the news forecast for the winter weather across the mid west. Brrrrrrrrrrr..... Sure looks cold to me. Careful with your steps. Don't fall and break a hip or something!!!!! Best wishes.

We get lots of Sun here in the mountains of Western, NC
But this is a temperate rain forest, so we do get lots of rain in between the Sunny days

Here 's video of the snow plow that went into the ditch at the bottom of my drive way

At the 7 minute mark, the fork lift nearly tips over and the driver bails out of the cab

That was pretty dicey there for a few. I think the angle of the dangle was a little off on that pickle fork.  LOL......

> the spruce was

Fah. When I get a spruce out, it's never going to touch dirt again. The things are weeds. Dangerous weeds. I'm glad though that yours is out in free space, not by driveway or electric lines.

the Silver maple to the west was the reason I bought the farm, the power line is but a small twig buried inside the canopy.
