Hey Gang,
Here is my serial #1 Rusty-Dawg amp I just recently finished up. I thought it would be cool to show a demo of her being played by my pal Randy Beavers. This is a single channel, 2-6L6, 5AR4 rectifier, presence, and 3 knob reverb amp. Speaker is an EV Force 12" and cabinet is maple with an oil finish. Anyway, it's fun to share something completed with the good folks on the Hoffman forum.

That's pretty! :icon_biggrin:

I especially like the final note. Very clever.

Nice uncluttered workmanship. And I like the dog walking around with the the rubber bone. I'm guessin you built the stereo hi-fi amp in the background; I've rebuilt several old Fishers, Grommes, and Dynacos, and about to build a Decware Zen type amp - curious as to what you built.

Nice work Mike :icon_biggrin:
Really good examples (esp for newbies) of "uncluttering", lead dressing and great earthing point terminations on chassis.
Thanks for sharing and sounds great too. :occasion14:
Kind regards

Hey thanks... Yes I built that Dynaco amp. It was a ST120 kit from tubes4hifi. Pretty easy build and very satisfying to listen to. I loaded her up with KT120s and a Weber SS rectifier which I ended up liking better on this amp. "curious as to what you built" you can see a few things I fool around with here https://www.p2pamps.com/project-page (https://www.p2pamps.com/project-page). I do quite a bit of repair work but mostly just have fun. I don't post a lot here as I learn more from using my eyes and ears than talking. There are a ton of experts here and I listen to all of them.
Cheers

Really nice workmanship on the amp. Beautiful lead dress, very uncluttered, and sounds super sweet. Nice work on the cabinet too. Thanks so much for sharing.
