aside;
the last real ball breaker problem I worked on was similar to the above, 3 +/- 160vdc 100A switching supplies would intermittently blow all 12 80A fuses at once, a sound that was amazing!,  then work just fine for weeks, or a day, or..  I was backup on the problem, I kept pushing Bob to quit replacing fuses, a 3hr endeavor, and bust out the books.
I wound up getting made primary, I downed the system, took every cover off all the equipment and walla, stuffed in the side between 2 covers was a bank of PS filter caps flopping loose where the mounts broke. ordered parts, became a hero, got fired 2 weeks latter  :l2:
