As far as the Eagles go, Don Felder was the king
No offense meant to Joe Walsh, but Don is definitely high up on my list of favorite guitar players
Watch him play the solo to Hotel California and see how awesome his phrasing is.

Got to see him play a few years ago and it was great. One of those 3 band tours and Tommy Shaw came out for the Hotel C duo part. Big fun.

This was the moment for me when I realized just how good he is. I remember watching this for the first time... :huh:

Massive Eagles fan here, I got One Of These Nights on tape and the 'Live 1980' tape with Seven Bridges Road on, given to me at 6 years old and it changed everything...
It wore out so much the Hotel California solo had a super-vibrato on it!

Yes, I love Joe, but Felder is an absolutely fine guitarist, wonderful melodic phrasing. Cream of the crop. :blob8:
