Well no wonder! Obviously, that's a 1/4 inch hex bit in a socket meant for a 6mm hex bit. :laugh:

When the 8 of us graduated as Radar techs, the E9 gave a talk, passed out matchbooks, the small pocket size, they rattled when shaken. His comment before opening the gifts "Sometimes you just need brute force to find a problem quickly". Inside were 2 steal slugs like the one pictured :icon_biggrin:
In 38 years, I used that method a couple times, worked well, got home before the Sun came up :laugh:
