I just entered my interest on the Western Electric website, it would be nice for the boutique companies and home builders, having USA made tubes in their amps as a selling point,
I can imagine they would be of good quality but wonder what the prices would be like?

High, of course. And I'd be OK with that if a company pays their workers a reasonable wage and treats them well.

The WE notice did say that they want to make the tubes affordable for all. And high quality to boot. As with everything in the economy now, they will have to pass the costs of management, service, material costs and production costs on to the customer. With robotics it may be less factory workers than we might think.

With robotics
yep
My kid told me once "you're always ahead of the curve"
I got my degree in Robotics and automated Manufacuring in '89
The industry is finally catching up :icon_biggrin:
