Title: Harmonic Percolator analysis
Post by: lantertronics on April 13, 2022, 04:23:33 pm
This is such a weird pedal -- it's not like any other fuzz circuit I've ever seen. It's two cascaded common emitter BJT gain stages one PNP and one NPN, which in and of itself is fairly standard, but the bias scheme is VERY strange.

while enjoying shellac on the periphery, i’ve never obsessed over the percolator until I bought the Land HP-2

aside from gold foil pickups, the land is just the most beautifully engaging drive pedal i have ever owned on every source I feed it: singles, humbuckers, guitar, bass, baritone, and synthesizers.

I enjoyed this video, and now I want to buy a backup HP-2 if mine is ever lost or stolen.
