Hopefully this is the right place for this:
I just got a Titano "Custom 314" model amp off the workbench. After much internet searching and squinting at fuzzy pictures of schematics, I have the following information:
-There are recently made schematics of the Titano 314 that are not quite right.
-The schematic found on this website for the Magnatone 413 looks to be exactly the same circuit as the Titano Custom 314 that I had on the bench with ONE exception: The Titano uses a 2 diode, full wave rectifier rather than a tube rectifier. There is a hole in the chassis for the tube but is plugged with a square of sheet metal. It is clear that this was done at the factory. Obviously this means that the power transformer is different as well. The EIA code on this amps transformer indictates that it was made by Schumacher, most likely in 1959.
For what it's worth. Hopefully this will save someone time hunting around for the correct schematic. I know it took me a while...
