Title: Speaker Question
Post by: jy67 on May 05, 2022, 05:58:33 am
Would 2 - 8 ohm 25 watt Weber 10F15OT's (https://www.tedweber.com/10f150-t/) wired in parallel handle either a Blackface Bandmaster (40w) or Bassman (50w) head?

It depends on how the amp is used. Clean will probably be fine, overdriven perhaps not.
Overdriven power will probably be around 50% + higher than than rated (ie clean) power output.

Overdriven with pedals, or just cranking the volume?

It makes no difference really, 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. All that matters is whether the output stage gets pushed hard into overdrive.
