Title: pedal pcb cap polarity markings
Post by: joesatch on July 01, 2022, 03:52:58 pm
bought this cheap pedal kit from alibaba. The pcb has markings for electrolytic caps. I cannot tell if the marking is for negative or positive. anyone know?

Does the battery snap negative connect to the marked terminal of C6?
Probably need to plug into the input jack to make that circuit.

thanks for the tip. after some continuity testing it appears the markings are for negative.

that's how it is in kicad/pcbnew, although the positive terminal is marked with a square solder pad instead of round (just like an ic pin 1 is)
