Title: Leslie Speaker Cables - Anyone Make these?!
Post by: BlackCrowe604 on August 15, 2022, 01:10:31 pm
Hey Everyone,

Not sure if anyone else here plays a hammond organ but, these leslie cables just never seem to hold up.

Anyone here make their own? Prices online are just crazy!

Would like to make my own (10-15ft length) and save a couple bucks.

Checking in to see if anyone has went down this rabbit hole before!

Cheers!

Don't dance on my cables! No yanking either!

Where do they break? At the connectors or in the middle of the run?

EDIT: I hope you are not paying $200 for 30 feet!!

I have made them, but I have also repaired a lot of Leslie Cabinets and Scrapped a lot of Hammond Tone Cabinets.  Originals are easily repaired.  Simply dictated by pen number.  Not looking to get rid of any but I never have always been able to repair.  It has been years, but I believe it may be captain-foldback.com should be your friend!
