Title: Looking For Patent Attorney
Post by: ululufut on August 19, 2022, 10:58:19 am
My engineering/business partner and I have invented an enhancement to musical instrument amplifiers. We are looking to hire a patent attorney with an electrical engineering background. Ideally, we would like to find an attorney that is also a guitar enthusiast with an immediate understanding of the industry. If you know of such and individual, we would appreciate the referral. Thank you!

Amazing! I can’t help you in your search but I’d be curious to know what your invention does! Not necessarily exactly what or how. But what is the effect? Does it make one sound more like EVH without having to practice? That would be fantastic! Would you be willing to share?

Fwiw...I did apply for a trademark/ copyright a few years back. Legalzoom helped me get everything squared away with USTPO. Wasn’t terribly expensive, like maybe a $400 if I recall? I would call them more of a legal consultant though, not a true lawyer, but they may offer full lawyer services as well.

Lol - well, filing the patent successfully will allow for me to describe it. I think it is a feature guitarists will be excited about.
