Title: Does this pot exist?
Post by: joesatch on September 15, 2022, 09:19:01 am
Like a push pull pot but it stays in the same physical position. Hard to explain. Basically you push in the pot to engage the switch but the pot springs back to where it was. Not pushed or pulled where you can see the pot is out or in. Do these exist?

That would be much easier to use than pulling on a knob! Eagerly awaiting your results.

only thing it doesn't give is a visual indicator of which mode is activated. have an 80s ibanez bass that had push/push pots for coil splits. never could really tell which mode it was in (i took em out and added a push/pull pot for series/parallel on the neck pickup... in parallel mode with the preamp i put in it does a VERY convincing stingray impression)
