I saw Danny play at a guitar festival in Massachusetts. Robert Cray got introduced by his manager as, "the Greatest Guitar Player in the World." Ronnie Earl was introduced as "The Greatest Guitar Player in the World." But Danny didn't need nobody proclaiming him the greatest; he just strapped on that Tele and proved it. He played Brian Wilson's In My Room and it was so sad as the message of Danny's depression was clear. Damn, he is missed.
