Title: VK200 + cap filter on heaters ... is this interesting for guitar amps ?
Post by: kagliostro on October 01, 2022, 03:42:20 am
I recovered some components from an old Stereo Graetz radio and dismanting it I notiched the presence of some VK200 impedances, so I give a look to the schematic and I've seen that those components are used in the filament feeding path (in junction with 2.2n caps)

Will this filter be interesting to be used in guitar amps ?

ECC85 is probably a RF Amplifier. ECH81 is a converter (oscillator+mixer)? EBF89 is a "final IF amplifier and detector" (http://www.r-type.org/exhib/aaa0257.htm). This is probably a HIGH gain radio with possible MHz oscillations, even carried on common heater lines.

I don't see much use in guitar work.
