Title: 6j6 LTP experiment
Post by: BrainDeadAmps on November 01, 2022, 01:56:17 pm
Hey guys,

I rebuilt an old projector amp and lifted the phase inverter circuit from "the howler monkey" designed by F. Cook.

It works but seeing that my amp has a higher Ht voltage I'd like to bump up the ht supply from 225 to 250 in order to raise the voltage of the preamp.

I get lost trying to come up with the modifications needed mathmatically.

What are the voltage values at each filter cap now?

This is the circuit in it's current state.

Experiment with the last two dropping resistors until you have what you want.

Bumped it up to 250 and sounds great, thanks Sluckey.
