Title: Oldie but newbie

I'm 71 years young, have played guitar since I was 14, have built a few guitars but always wanted to build a tube amp so I'm gonna! I've owned a number of tube amps over the years and currently play thru a '68 Deluxe Reverb Reissue and love it. I've modded tube amp circuits with kits and I rewire my guitars and pedals and feel safe doing this. Guess my next stop is the build forums for some basic questions on what, how, etc. I've decided on the Tweed Deluxe 5e3 and have some nice zebra wood left to me by a friend that recently passed and plan to build the cabinet out of that wood.
