Title: 5e8 preamp question.
Post by: johngovan on November 17, 2022, 05:59:29 pm
I want to omit the extra tubes or input channels and make it just one input channel instead of four. My question is, is the 270k resistor that is highlighted in red needs to go to ground or should I also omit that one?

Thank you so much Sluckey. I need to finalize the layout. It helps a lot.

I would also consider removing the other 270K mixing resistor and that extra 100K mixing resistor.

Yes. Pot wiper connects directly to next tube grid.

Yes. Pot wiper connects directly to next tube grid.

Thank you so much. I'm really excited to make a low wattage 5e8.
