I found this layout in my files, can't find a schematic that that matches, if anyone has this schematic appreciate sharing with me. I don't see any issues, if anyone does please let me know. I was planing on stuffing this in to an A0-43 Hammond chassis, head. I was just following Sluckey's Single channel, deluxe lite schematic with a few changes, PPIMV. using 6V6's, 12AX7 and 12AT7. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I planned on using a 32/32 can and two 22uf filters, what about a choke to the screens of 6V6 instead of a cap..? And 5ar4

That PPIMV will burn up your output tubes!

OK, is that because there is no safety 2.2M R..? Or possibly take the 220K's out use a 250K dual pot with safty 2.2M R..?

No. Keep looking. :icon_biggrin:

Man, you make me work.. What about my second edit..?

Well, you asked us to work. Now it's your turn.

> burn up your output tubes!
It does say "old flame"!
Just do it. Only get a video for the "oops!" credit.

Ok, no l’m not going to do it, . I’m going to take that “ground off!” Then ditch the two 220k’s on the bd, run the bias to the outer two legs of a 250k dual pot, run the swiper to each middle leg from the caps, connect the other two wires to the 6v6’s. Add two 2.2M R to wiper and end legs to caps.
Still “ pop goes the weasel” :l2:
-
Now doesn't that feel good!
May I suggest... Change the dual pot to a 250K dual pot. Change the onboard 220Ks to 2.2M. Connect the MV left lugs together and run a wire to the junction of the onboard 2.2M resistors.

I take the rest of the layout passes..?
-
I started at the top left. Never made it past the MV burner.

Besides the grounded PPIMV mistake, that layout sucks. I read your Tweed Deluxe built from 2006, “very nice”, you should be a writer for a magazine.. :icon_biggrin: “57 Chevy”. BTW, l had a 57, 2 door, put a 327 in, after snapping a few axles, l put a positive traction rear axle, no more snapped axles. Man, l miss that car, l’m a much better mechanic than amp guy but l love music too. Just an old dude now, lucky to be alive through the late 60’s. With that Chevy.
I’ll just build that Deluxe Reverb in your Schematic builds. But your layout in Doug’s schematic’s doesn’t show the reverb PT, foot switch and RCA inputs, etc. Not a big deal for me but if you have a layout with those additions, share it?
Thanks for your help as always. Took me a while to figure out the PPIMV was drawn as something between a pre and post MV. That layout is worthless.

That was the first Visio layout I ever did. That layout is really just a board layout and interconnections. You must use the schematic to put the puzzle together.
