Title: Cetron 572b are really unobtanium tubes ?
Post by: kagliostro on December 04, 2022, 12:12:12 pm
A friend has a very nice '60 transmitter and is saying me that to find the tubes (good tubes) is really near impossible, the only tube he can find are 572b made in china and those have a very large percentage of bad tube, only few are usable

Thanks for any info

Everybody used to use Russian 572B tubes, until this spring. "Not Available".

Penta Labs in California (somewhere?) gets tubes from China but checks or tests them.
