Greetings folks!!!
A number of questions on this my 1ST amp build!!!
1. Ive used machine screws and nuts with locking washers to secure tube sockets, but the lugs for the 9 pin sockets are very close to the nuts. What are soms reliable ways to prevent a short. Nut covers, heat shrink?
2. 25K Reverse audio pots...I was only able to find a pot that in has pcb pins rather than solder lugs. Is it reliable to use a bit of stripboard to connect wires to the pots? If not what is a reliable way of making the connection? Where might i find the version with solder lugs if i cant reliably use this pot?
3. PT secondaries look good and have the appropriate voltages. Any issues you can spot from the pics? Ive just wired the filament circuit and the 5y3 plates/cathodes to the PT.

1. Use 4-40 screws/nuts for sockets.
2. Wrap the wire around the pins for a reliable mechanical connection. Apply solder.
3. Nope.
