The Super twin has been working fine but I have 1 gain question. At the front end on V1-pin 8 I replaced the 750/3v to a 10 uf. I seemed to have lost some gain and attack. Should I go back to the 750 or change to another value?

yes

ok, thanks

I still have the original white 750 polarized cap. Should I use it or replace due to its age?

yes

Thanks, just to be sure. This is a 750 uf?

Hey, you didn't ask permission to remove it. You don't need permission to put it back.

I've looked at many other bass amp front ends. Traynor and Sunn both use 220uf for that position. Fender has used 25 and 220.
I have a 220 and a 330. Will the 750 be that much different? I'm coming from a 10

Just do it!

Well I tried the 220 , 30 & old 750.
The old 750 did have the best attack. I stayed with the 330 because it was close and new. Otherwise I can put the 750 back in
