Title: Does anyone own or built a Garnet Mach 5 ?

 I think this might be an interesting build but determining the value of what looks to be a center tapped choke driving the power tubes might be a bit of a challenge. I knew Gar as a customer. He built an amp for me in 2003. It was soon after that I became interested in building amps. Anyway I don't imagine there are many here that have seen one nevermind owned one.

Not familiar with that amp but T3 is an autotransformer. Just recently saw another schematic with that same autotransformer used as the phase inverter.

Here is a gut shot of the mach 5 from reverb with the coil of copper visible in the shot.


edit: Actually i see this model version has reverb so it's  the wrong amp.
