I’ve been running a Jensen P12Q in my tweed deluxe build for over 10years with no issues.
I’ve just bought two new ones to install into two new tweed deluxe builds. They both sound the same as each other but quite different to my old one.
The new ones sound much bassier and warmer than my old one.
It would not be too much of an issue, however my customers have based their purchase decision on what they heard from my old tweed deluxe. It may be an issue for them, though it may not…..
The thing is, what changes can we expect from a paper cone speaker like the Jensen as it ages?
Does anyone have experience of this?
Cheers, VB
