Hello all.
A few weeks ago I received a nice Hohner kingstar 20 amplifier from a friend. It is from the early 1970s. This amplifier is actually an Elka trx 20 but commissioned for Hohner. Originally there was also a reverb/tremolo unit, but that was removed by a previous owner. Normal channel works well and tremolo channel actually even nicer and clearer, only without tremolo effect and there is no gain at all in the amplifier. I have already replaced the filter caps. I'm also going to install a fuse now and in a few weeks I'll get a set of 6p14p ev. Now I have a few questions. I'm a beginner in amp stuff. Do you have any suggestions for placing a master volume and/or gain. In principle there is room for 2 pots on the control panel. Perhaps there is a part in the preamp that is no longer used by the tremolo. Another question what to do with the connections for the footswitch for reverb and tremolo. I want to keep the option to put reverb back open in the future, but it could then be controlled by the potentiometer. But maybe(http://) there are more ideas you can come up with? Everything is welcome. Thank you in advance
