Title: Vermona mv3. Moving input volume to a more standard location
Post by: chocopower on December 21, 2022, 10:31:03 am
Hi there.
Had been a while.

"New" amp in working condition. One channel is the nowadays tipical configuration:
Gain stage - tone + volumen - gain stage.

The other one:
Volume - gain stage - tone stack

Standar procedure is move that input volume just after the tonestack,  but maybe is gonna loose a lot of gain due the lack of a recovery stage.

What do you think?

I would try a 1M pot just to the left of R16/C27.

Yes. That's my first impulse. Just like the ecc83 channel.

I'll give a try.

Thanks
