Long time ago I had a pdf file with good explanations about how acts a Saturated Iron Transformer

Unfortunately I'm not able to find it anymore

Use google to search for "Saturable reactor". Lot's of info.

My Warbler (http://sluckeyamps.com/warbler/warbler.htm) uses three saturable reactors.

This short youtube video demonstrates the basic operation of a saturable reactor...
