So I picked up this Leslie unit for $20 at a yard sale this weekend. This is my first encounter with a Leslie unit. Seems everything was complete except the mounting bracket for the lower assembly where the rotating drum attaches to the pulley/motor system under the speaker.
Anyone have any idea what would be required to make it work. Perhaps a photo of how it was connected. In most photos online the speaker is covering this section.
Below I will attach some photos of the unit.

Look here...

Scroll down to find the pic that shows the bracket you 'probably' need. You will also need a drive belt. Leslie parts can be found on eBay. They ain't cheap. You need to know exactly what you want because there are a lot of small differences in similar parts for different models.
I have another unit that's identical to the one on my web page. I could let it go if you are interested.

Thanks for the info sluckey. Your photo is exactly what i was searching for.
So perhaps i could fabricate a bracket that allows for for a bearing to be placed on the center pole and holds the drum center. Seems more practical than trying to piece together the expensive replacement parts I'm seeing online.
The drive belt came with it, just not shown in the photo.

I don't think it's a bearing. Most likely a bronze bushing and oil wick. Been too long for me to remember that little detail.
