Maxwell Street Camp Meeting Description: Maxwell St. artist and on lookers. Sunday Creator: Cushman, Charles Weever, 1896-1972

The two speaker size cabinet caught my eye. Also the guitars, and more speaker cabinets.

Maxwell Street was Chicago's flea market. It inspired Ron Popeil.

Yeah, Neat looking amp. Those acoustic guitars apparently have add on pickups. Behind the guitar players I see a guy with a Mic. Also see a smaller amp off to the right. Back in those days not manyfolks had PA systems and everybody plugged into one or two amps.

I get a big kick out of Sister Rosetta Tharpe
