Title: Pro Junior fx loop
Post by: Rockranger on March 27, 2023, 10:28:09 am
Hey guys,
Just wondering if someone had a simple and effective fx loop schematic. Also wondering the best place to put it in the Hoffman pro junior conversion? Thanks!

Heyo. You don't say whether passive or active, but I'd assume passive for this sort of build. I install passive fx loops in amps, and they're super simple and I really like them. I'm attaching a pretty crummy diagram, but it is accurate in that it works fine. Install after the Volume pot because then the Vol pot controls the amount of send.

One jack socket is switched, the second one is not. I usually isolate jacks from the chassis, which is why the reminder is there to wire the ground lugs to ground. If you don't isolate your jack sockets, no need to wire them to ground. But you probably knew that.

Hope that helps.
