Title: Mesa Boogie Mark II Coliseum Reverb Hookup and other questions
Post by: markmalin on March 28, 2023, 09:12:36 am
Hi all

I'm working on an early 80's Mesa Coliseum and don't have the enclosure, but I want to test the reverb.  I plan to just hook up the reverb from a Fender just to see if it works, but am confused about where the jacks are for the reverb.  I'm assuming it is the 2 RCA jacks on the top of the chassis, one labeled "Rev" and one "White", but I see another jack as well that looks somewhat like an RCA so am not sure.

Also, is it standard that this should be drawing nearly an amp of current while idling?

Thanks
mark

tracing the wires, while looking at the schematic always lead me to the proper configuration, always double check yourself  :icon_biggrin:

add up all the filaments current, see if it gets you close to an amp

I know.  I'm waiting on a schematic from Mesa...  it's just an unfamiliar chassis to me, that's all.  I'll figure it out

There's a Mark II schematic in Hoffman's schematic library.
