Title: Who manufactures TAD tubes?

They put out this press release last year - https://audioxpress.com/news/update-regarding-the-supply-of-amplifier-tubes-from-tube-amp-doctor - but it's still a little ambiguous.  Do they have their own manufacturing plant in China? Or are they possibly working with Psvane?

Curious because of the current political situation; I'd like to know what options there are, mainly for output tubes.

TAD tubes are manufactured in several Chinese factories far as I know.   TAD is sort of like Groove Tubes--they collect, sort, reject, match and market these tubes for consumers.   I like their preamp tubes
but Chinese rectifiers are a gamble.  Jim

The data sheets for each tube type on the tad website show a little bit of info. Each datasheet will say "selected" or "made for us" in the description.


"Selected" meaning rebranded.
"Made for us " meaning some sort of exclusivity deal with the manufacturer.


As far as which manufacturer, who knows?
There are only a handful anyway. And each one has their gems and lemons both.

Some of them look Shuguang-ish.
