Title: Piping for tolexing fabric joints source

Does anybody know I could get this in the uk, as allparts do not have it in stock

Could I substitute with it something else such as plastic insulated wire or some other kind of flexible plastic piping used for other purposes
It does not need to be gold coloured, black would work.
