Haven't posted for a while. Expect to start working on amps again soon. Here's my band Daze of Thunder live at the Bitter End, NYC last Fri night:

I'm on the right.

Mississippi Queen, one of my Fav songs of all time. You do it very well.
I saw Mountain play at the famous Eastown theater in Detroit many times as a teen.

Well Counsellor, you are full of surprises. I never suspected you liked the same music that I do. I enjoyed every song! Opening and closing were my favorites.
Have we ever talked about any of the amps in your band? Any homebrews?

Thanks, guys! Great photo, scstill!
Sluckey, long time no see! The amp situation is frustrating to an amp lover. I'm stuck using backline amps at rehearsals & at gigs. The sound guys like to mic their tried & true amps on stage. And an amp is too much to carry around. So, I tend to select a backline SF Fender amp, in this case a Deluxe Reverb, then use pedals to mimic other amps, and maybe my diy attenuator for higher power amps. At this gig: Boss TU-2 Tuner > Wampler Tumnus (Klon clone) > Marshall Jackhammer (800/900 Plexi tone) > Boss BD-2 Blues Driver Keeley Modded > amp.
The amp to the right of the Deluxe Reverb is a Rastop -- unheard of local brand with a great 70's 80's Marshall tone w/o pedals. But I wasn't familiar to gig with it cold.
The other guitarist is a professional musician with college degrees in medieval lute, and sound engineering! The rest of us are amateurs.
A Sunn would have been great!

Good stuff, especially enjoyed the Zep and Sabbath, the dual guitar line up works really well, complimenting rather than competing with each other.
It’s unfortunate that the keys player was out of frame, but great, pin sharp, video quality.

hi pdf64: To my pleasant surprise the video & audio is from my Samsung S22+ smartphone, all by itself. No other lenses or mic's. We bought an audio feed from the soundboard, but the phone audio sounds better! The phone was attached to an upright building support column, using a small tripod with flexible legs to wrap around the post. I delegated the videography which unfortunately cut-out the keyboard player, announcer and much of my left hand.

Good stuff JJ!
I enjoyed it as much as sluckey did.
Good to see you back around these parts and very happy to see you out enjoying yourself.
