Fetron in 1967, Humm pretty old :w2: Regarding tube amps, IMHO, you may as well buy a SS amp than to have all the tubes SS. The only advantage I can see as if at some point you can't get tubes and you have all these tube amps you want to keep running. I read on the Soundsmith's page that the SS power tubes would be approximately $50 each?


I've read some pretty encouraging info lately that the tube industry have signs of picking up and maybe some old factories that have closed, reopening. Would be great. More production and more competition.
