I built this amp a few months ago and after playing it I'd decided that I'd rather have a tweed style tone control on the overdrive output then the master vol for the clean section. I'm having trouble coming up with an optimal setup for the clean side since the grid reference from the vol pot is no longer present.
Any ideas on how to wire it up so I have 500k grid reference for the clean side and when OD is selected, the grid reference is determined by the lvl control?
I'm having trouble finding a happy medium. I found the best balance in volume between clean and OD with 500k grid reference for the clean side and a 250k pot for the OD LVL.

I would try putting a 500K resistor between EL84 pin 2 and ground.

:BangHead: Must of been overthinking it.
Simple solution, thanks Sluckey
