Can i use this for an amp build?
Why would you need a bridge that can carry 35 amperes of current?
Why buy a rectifier from Shenzhen China when there are heaps of them already in the US?

You can use it
But if not necessary to have a so large current why to risk a very big trouble if there is a short ?
I'll prefer 4 x 1N4007, if there is a short they can burn acting as a sort of fuse

i will look for a smaller one. my main concern is if these would be noisy. I am considering this because i can get it by tomorrow. i ordered this one, same day delivery. Space is a huge concern which is why i'm buying this. I'm building a 40 watt 6l6 poweramp into a 7"x7" chassis.

Careful where you source your parts from. A lot of the parts from Amazon, Ali Express, etc., are substandard. Source from Mouser, DigiKey, Newark, Allied, or the like - They have verified the supply chain and you're sure to not get counterfeit parts.
BTW, 1-4A 600-800V bridge rectifiers are more than adequate for what we build unless you're building something over 100W. Build your bridge with discrete diodes to save some $$, the downside to that is more board space - Modular bridge rectifiers consume less board space.

Our host has 3A bridge rectifier packages (https://hoffmanamps.com/MyStore/perlshop.cgi?ACTION=enter&template&thispage=Lamps&ORDER_ID=!ORDERID!), guaranteed supplier-quality, shipped as fast as USPS will deliver it. Seems reasonable to support that.

Had you bought from Hoffman, you might have to wait 1 more day but you would have gotten the right part for $1.58 less (even though shipping is 4.5x the cost of the part). You would also be supporting the forum you use.
I'm not anti-Amazon. I don't like the economic impact a large % of Amazon-sellers have on US businesses (though admittedly, my preferences are 100% my problem).

An advantage on using 4 single diodes instead of a single bridge is that instead of use standard diodes you can use fast diodes (that are less noisy), UF14007 is the fast version of the 1N4007
I don't know about the existence of a fast FWBridge rectifiers

Understood. i see where you're coming from. I almost always put delivery speed over price when ordering parts. I'll keep this in mind.

I have not been able to find any in through hole configuration. Been lookin' for awhile. That said, I have not had a problem with noise from any of the FWB packages I have used.

You are not alone. I buy no amp parts through Really Big River for just that reason. I buy what I can from Doug - same reasons. And its not just the River and not just amps - I avoid Home Desperate, Lowe Class, Wally World, Crapco, and Subway. All the local hardware stores, small engine shops, sandwich shops, etc. are disappearing. And in case you are wondering, kids are allowed on my lawn.

this is what i use when i need a prepackaged bridge (can be super helpful in small enclosures where i don't have the board real estate. just bolt it to the chassis): https://www.taydaelectronics.com/single-phase-bridge-rectifier-mic-35a-1000v.html
hoffman options are good as well
